core artistic values

˚˖𓍢ִ໋❀ sustainability

I have spent the past decade slowly accumulating my stash of crafting materials through thrifting or gifting, meaning the majority are second-hand scraps that have been diverted from landfills and now have the potential to be turned into something new and functional once more! I only use natural fibers (cotton, linen, wool, etc) to the best of my ability and knowledge.

˚˖𓍢ִ໋❀ quality

Just because something is home-made, doesn’t mean it can’t have professional quality - in fact my pieces are a great deal more durable than most fast-fashion buys. I use enclosed seam finishes on all my garments ensuring they will be machine-washable, rowdy-ready to wear, and long-lasting.

˚˖𓍢ִ໋❀ accessibility

Art should be accessible to everyone, regardless of income or background. I want to be part of the movement to dismantle financial barriers when it comes to engaging with art and supporting artists. I try to price my pieces fairly for the buyer and for myself as the maker. I am also open to negotiation and exchange if you contact me, let’s talk it through!

˚˖𓍢ִ໋❀ activism-oriented

My work - particularly multimedia collage - touches on themes of living through political unrest and oppression, climate change/disaster, covid-denialism, queer identity, disability, environmental justice, and more. You need not agree with my stances to engage with my work, but my art, whimsical frilly blouses and all, will never be apolitical.
